Since moving to Jacksonville a month ago, I have realized that it gets really boring being in a new town while Dustin is at work all day long! Now don't get me wrong, I love having this summer off to just relax and recover from my stressful year of wedding planning, moving, and teaching second grade! I just really needed something to occupy my time.
Fast forward to beginning of July, when I started a cake decorating class at the Michael's craft store in town. I took the first course 5 YEARS ago with my mom in Georgia, but I figured with all this free time, I might as well take another cake decorating class.
There are only 5 people in my class on Tuesday nights, and it cost less than $25 to take (but you have to buy the supplies, which can add up). So far it has been really fun, and my hubby cannot wait for me to make him and his work buddies lots of cake to eat.
