College football season has begun! I see many afternoons at Heroz, the sports bar on Camp Lejeune, watching our favorite teams with a pitcher of Cherry Wheat beer.
Dustin is gone for the next couple weeks, but I am already looking forward to his return. The start of fall will be much better with my other half here as well.
I signed up to be one of the coaches for our school's girls' running team. I certainly am not much of a runner, but I am thinking this is a good way to force me to exercise! I will even be participating in a 5K run with my girls on December 3rd. Wish me luck!

It's time to decorate for fall! I'm not going all out with pumpkins and Halloween decor until October, but for now I can pull out my apple cinnamon candles, autumn leaves, and even buy a cinnamon broom!
I really wish that Eastern NC had some apple orchards that I could visit to get some super-fresh apples this fall, but I guess the bagged ones will work just as well!
