Brad Paisley Concert

Last weekend, Dustin and I took a short trip down the highway to Raleigh for a concert. We went to see Brad Paisley, who is one of my ALL-TIME favorite singers :)

We got there right on time (from what the tickets said), but we were waiting a LONG time to be able to sit in our seats and get some relief from the heat and sun. The opening acts were pretty good, and Dustin absolutely loved hearing Darius Rucker perform (Former lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish).

Then around 9:00 it was time for Brad Paisley! He played a great show, and I knew every single song he played! He even came out into the crowd to play a couple songs for the "cheap seats", which is where we were sitting!

After the concert, we drove out to a bar in town to watch the end of the UFC fight, because my husband is obsessed with them. Around 1:00, we head out, ready for the 2+ hour drive back to Jacksonville. Except, what we were not ready for was a flat tire. Which we got. In the middle of nowhere, halfway between both places, at 2:00 in the morning. Thank goodness for 24-hr. roadside assistance, which was able to safely change our tire for us without us getting hit by a car or something on the side of the road, and we finally made it back to our comfy bed at around 4:15 in the morning. Long night, but SO MUCH FUN!
