Dustin finished up his latest round of classes, and has also just earned his Gray Belt through his Martial Arts/Combat Training classes he has been taking over the past few weeks. His Sundays continue to revolve around Falcons football and trying to tweak his Fantasy Football team.
I have really gotten into the groove with teaching kindergarten, and am finally moving from practicing rules and procedures, to actually teaching on a daily routine and schedule. I am a creature of habit, so knowing that we will be following the same daily schedule each day really helps me to stay focused. I got over a nasty bug in mid-September, and am happy to be healthy once again!
We are looking forward to a very action-packed October, which is fitting for the start of my favorite season: FALL!!!
In October we will:
-Visit Mike's Farm for pumpkin picking and hayride fun in Richlands, NC
-Go camping at Carolina Beach State Park October 15 - 17
-Visit the Onslow County Fair October 4 - 9
-Possibly visit the North Carolina State Fair October 14 - 24
-Visit a Haunted House
-Host a Halloween Costume Party at our place!

ReplyDeleteI've never been to it, but I heard the haunted forest on base is really scary. And the whole time we lived down there, we never got a chance to go to Mike's Farm and I'm sad about it :(
ReplyDeleteThere is so much stuff going on in October. Our calendar is going to burst- and I couldn't be happier about it. We might check out beerfest since we are camping near Wilmington, so maybe we could meet up there Nicole- or if you want to head to the fair together one day!
